Welcome to 136 (Chipping Norton) RAF Air Cadet squadron. The squadron has been running since 1938 and continues to work with young people of the North Cotswold area to promote awareness of aviation and develop skills and abilities which are useful in both service and civilian life.

We hold parade every Tuesday and Thursday from 19:00 hrs through 21:30 hrs and have a new intake of cadets twice a year.

To keep informed of our new cadet Open Evenings, register for updates and keep checking back for more information. We look forward to welcoming you to our squadron. If you would like to volunteer your time and support the squadron as a volunteer, you can register your interest through the site too.

The squadron operates out of the ATC Hut, situated behind the Fire Station in Chipping Norton, for parade nights but can attend events anywhere. We mainly operate within the Thames Valley Wing (Oxfordshire and Berkshire) and some travel maybe required by cadets. We do try to provide as much transport as we can though. Regular additional locations include RAF Brize Norton (flying) and RAF Benson (various activities), with occasional visits to RAF Little Rissington (gliding).

If you have any questions, drop us an email on 136@aircadets.org or use the contacts page to give us more detail.

Why not have a look around our website and see what we do, what we have been up to (through our Cadet Blog and Events Gallery) and how we promote the challenges and development to our cadets to give them the best opportunities to develop their skills and behaviours for life.

The Squadron has a new website, why not take a look.Visit The New Site
